What is liver tumor?

Tumor is abnormal masses of tissue that form when cells begin to reproduce at an increased rate. Tumor of the liver which a large, reddish organ in the abdomen that produces proteins and digestive juices, store energy, and remove toxins from the body. There are many types of liver tumor, only some of which are cancer. The most important classification is whether the tumor is benign (relatively harmless) or malignant (capable of spreading from the liver and thus more serious).
